June 20 Amalfi to Matera

Today we drive east from Amalfi to Paestum to see the Greek Ruins there. Had a nice lunch after touring the ruins and then on to Matera for 2 nights; about a 3-4 hour pleasant drive.

Matera - in central Italy, about a 5-6 hour direct drive from Amalfi. The home facades have many rooms built into stone caves behind.
